LOVE

 

            Love is one of the most confusing, yet the most sought after emotion.  Out of all emotions, Love is also the most powerful.  Love can make you do things that you would have never thought to do otherwise.  Even though it is the most sought after emotion, really true, great love seems very hard to find.  Most people that are looking for it usually are looking in the wrong place.  The worst thing about love is that a lot of people can’t tell the difference between Like and Love.  They meet someone that they like and get “blinded by the like”.  See most people don’t look past the like to see what’s beyond it.  Especially someone who has not seen love, nor like in a long time.  They get so excited that they don’t realize that it’s not true love.  How exactly do you define true love?  I think that this is the only word that I know of that really can’t be defined cause love is so different of an emotion to each whom has found it.  I think the biggest question of all is how do you recognize True Love? Once again this is another one that can be answered multiple ways.  To me love is when you just can’t get that person out of your mind, no matter how hard you try.  Every time you think of that person, you just seem a little bit happier.  When they smile, you smile.  When they are sad, so are you.  And when they get close to you your heart starts racing.  And you are willing to do anything for that person.  Yes it’s true that you can be in love with someone and they don’t love you.  They may not even like you.  That is probably one love that most people just don’t want to find.  The bad thing about this love is you spend all of your time and energy loving this person but never get anything back.  It’s about like buying a hamburger with only the bun.  You just as well have ordered bread.  But we can’t control love.  One of the weirdest things about love is that true love is always found in the strangest places.  And most of the time when you least expect it.  There is one thing about love that people forget about.  There will always be someone who loves you, GOD.  He loved you so much that he created you, watched over you, and kept you safe.  He even loved you so much that he sent his one and only son JESUS to earth to die on the cross for your sins.  That is something that not many of us could do.  So next time you go out looking for love, remember.  Look in strange places and don’t be blinded by the like.
